Professional Members are recognized and promoted for their dedication to improving the quality of life for others through proactive professional service. Professional members are able to network with other professionals in all areas of the health and exercise sciences and utilize resources in order to enhance their service capabilities.

Qualifications: Individuals who have earned a bachelor's, master's or doctoral degree at an accredited institution in a field related to the health and exercise sciences; or have earned a minimum of a bachelor's degree, in another area of study, but who specializes in health and exercise sciences (including all health professionals).

Join NHESA, as we bring everyone in the Health and Exercise Science Industry together for our Health Promotion in Action Initiative in order to eliminate health disparities and increase the quality of life nationwide. NHESA’s Health Promotion in Action 2010 initiative is in direct support of the United States Government’s Healthy People 2010 initiative.

NHESA is committed to the development of a Proactive Health Community that is dedicated to proactive participation in health promotion. Health Promotion in Action 2010 will focus on the following strategies as we form our Proactive Health Network for a greater cause: Health Education, Health Communication, Self Help, Advocacy/Public Policy, Community and Organizational Development.
