NHESA supports, recognizes and promotes professional, educational, and leadership development.

NHESA provides two main sources for educational and professional development.:

1. Explore and Utilize NHESA listed Educational Institution programs for educational and professional development.

2. Explore and utilize development opportunities that are posted and updated on NHESAâ€™s Industry Events Master Calendar.

NHESA's Industry Events Master Calendar includes access to development opportunities in the Health and Exercise Sciences including dates and locations of CEU/CEC opportunities, events, workshops, seminars, conferences, etc.

NHESA's Alliance Partners for Health Promotion will provide updates on current events and programs taking place within the industry.

NHESA will continue to list certifications and professional development opportunities as they are offered through the year.

Join NHESA, as we bring everyone in the Health and Exercise Science Industry together for our Health Promotion in Action Initiative in order to eliminate health disparities and increase the quality of life nationwide. NHESA’s Health Promotion in Action 2020 initiative is in direct support of the United States Government’s Healthy People 2020 initiative.

NHESA is committed to the development of a Proactive Health Community that is dedicated to proactive participation in health promotion. Health Promotion in Action 2020 will focus on the following strategies as we form our Proactive Health Network for a greater cause: Health Education, Health Communication, Self Help, Advocacy/Public Policy, Community and Organizational Development.
